Privacy Policy
Updated October 14, 2026. Accounts and shop applications are available during early access; independent-shop checkout is coming soon.
Who to contact
Joel Dunn operates OrthoMerch. Contact hello@orthomerch.com or write to PO Box 640, Levelland, TX 79336 about personal information or this policy.
Information we use
We use account names, email addresses, password hashes, session identifiers, cart contents, favorites, orders, shipping details, and messages needed to operate the marketplace. Seller applications include shop details, ecclesiastical jurisdiction, parish or monastery affiliation, attestations, and clergy or other reference contact information. These application details can reveal religious affiliation. Please provide reference information only with permission.
Public shop profiles and listings display the content sellers choose to publish. Application reference contact information is used for review and is not part of the public shop profile. Stripe collects payment card and seller identity or banking details through its own interfaces. OrthoMerch stores payment and account identifiers and transaction status; we do not ask you to submit full card or bank details in marketplace forms.
How information is shared
Each fulfilling shop receives the buyer and shipping information needed for its own orders. Infrastructure providers include Cloudflare for hosting and image storage, Neon for the marketplace database, Stripe for payments and connected seller accounts, and Brevo when transactional email delivery is enabled. Existing merchandise checkout uses Fourthwall. Information is also disclosed where necessary to comply with law, investigate abuse, or resolve payment disputes.
Cookies and external services
Essential cookies maintain sign-in and shopping carts. Pages load fonts from Google Fonts, and merchandise images or checkout links can connect to the merchandise provider. Those services receive connection information under their own policies. Account creation does not authorize marketing email subscriptions through marketplace signup.
Retention and your choices
We retain information for operating accounts, fulfilling orders, handling refunds and disputes, preventing abuse, and meeting recordkeeping obligations. Financial records may need to remain after an account closes. Contact us to request access, correction, or deletion, or to ask about retention. We may need to verify your identity before acting. Do not include card numbers, passwords, or identity documents in ordinary email.
Account use is intended for adults. If you believe a child submitted personal information, contact us. Changes to this policy will be dated, with material changes communicated as appropriate.
